When Can I Come Home?

Milan's physical progress is still moving along, but this morning he hit an emotional wall. He wants to come home and he's feeling stur crazy in his hospital room. Mornings are typically difficult for him--he doesn't sleep well, the medicines give him vivid and sometimes troublesome dreams, and he wakes up tired and discouraged. I'm on my way up with a goodie basket to cheer him up:) I printed all the comments from the blog so he can read your supportive notes for himself. We're praying doctors can give him an estimate of when he can come home so he has something to looks forward to.

Milan, we miss you doing radio at New Life. Can't wait for you to come back and talk about this great adventure you're having! Good luck with your breathing exercises. I was lousy at that when I was in the hospital.

Sending you get well fishes ha ha ha. We are all praying for you, Kay and your family. Good job on the blog, Kelly!

Blessings, Dianne

Milan, I've been praying for you and so have my friends who know how much you've helped me. I'm praying that you'll be able to go home soon. I wish there was something we could all do to speed up this recovery process, but...since we don't have the power to do that, we'll just keep talking to the one who does.
God Bless
Kerri

Hi Milan,

Our family has been praying for you every day. Kelly's updates are fantastic. I know you want to get out of there and back home and back to work (I would be really disappointed to hear otherwise). Having recently travelled a similar road as the one you are on, I can only say that it gets better, much better. Stay strong!!

Milan, we continue to lift you up in prayer - and Kay too!! - as you heal from your surgery. Our whole marriage group has also been praying for you. We miss you on the air and pray that you will be able to come home soon. Just think about a nice peaceful dinner at the Copper Creek Inn with a quiet breeze whispering through all the trees. That's the feeling of calmness that we hope will come over you.

With our love to both you and Kay,

George & Susan Shook

Yo Milan! Bin prayin for you dude! I want you to know that I am not sending this to you because I am a pleaser. If I was an avoider, I wouldn't have sent this in the first place. If I was a victim, I would be blamning you because I hadn't sent this previously. If I was a controller, I would be at the hospital telling everyone what to do to take care of you. If I was a vacillator, I would have hemmed and hawed and finally decided you were all bad and not sent it. But I haven't sent this to you because I wanted to please you, it's because "I love you man!"

God Bless! Hope you get home soon.

Peter

Dear Milan,
The comment that Peter sent you was so funny, but it shows that we all have been listening & learning from YOU at all of your talks. Thank you so very much for sharing your life, knowledge & experiences so openly & candidly with us,and for being a LIVING example for us, & for inspiring us to bond & connect more deeply with others. You have been greatly missed at the Mon. Night Relationship classes & we are really looking forward to having you back REALLY SOON!
P.S. I have been praying for you & checking the blog every day & forwarding your prayer requests to my friends who attend on Mon. nights.
P.S. A great big thanks to Kelly for all the informative updates. God bless you!
Love to you & your family, RC

Dear Milan,

Although I don't know you personally, I am sending you a get-well message after googling a while to find out how you are doing. You gotta love the internet! I love hearing you on New Life Live where you answer people's questions in truth with a calm voice and an understanding spirit . I always appreciate your biblical soundness and your passion for God and His people. The truth and clarity of your teaching has been truly edifying. May God grant you the grace and strength you need for this season!

Hi Milan,

I am praying for you today! I am so glad we have these updates so we know how you are doing and how to pray.

They were playing a recorded show today...and it was a delight to hear you again. I am looking forward to having you back on live in the days ahead.

Hold on to Jesus, and He will carry you through!

Blessings,

Hey Milan, I ditto and LOL :0 from what Peter said. I have the group at Glenkirk Singles keeping you and the family in prayer. We are all praying that you are able to get out of the hospital very soon, (especially since it is UCLA after all, GO USC!) Sorry had to throw that in there for Cher. By the way Cher says hi and she is keeping you in prayer also. My mom says hi and is praying for you daily.
I want to say a special than you to Kelly for keeping us all updated Thank You Kelly!:).
If there is anything we can do on top of praying just say the word.

I love you Milan and I look forward to seeing you as soon as you are well.
P.S. I have been doing "awkward" and "uncomfortable" things these past weeks that go against my "pleaser."
Thanks Milan.
Love Steve Sposato

Hello Milan, I’m glad to hear you’re on the road to recovery. Honestly, I was never too worried, I’ve practiced martial arts w/ you for so many years, I know how mentally and physically strong you are. You’ve proven that many times over. Yes, I prayed for you but even more so for your family that they could stay strong and not be overwhelmed by fear and worry. I prayed to God to steady the hand of the surgeon who preformed the operation and I pray now for your quick and easy recovery. (as easy as possible of course) But I know in my heart that YOU, Milan, have the fortitude to overcome this.

I’ve also heard it said that if an entire congregation prays for one thing that God will not deny them. And you have that Milan. So many people love you and care about you and want to see you well again. I hope you can feel that and use that in your healing process. All these people that love you and care about you probably didn’t get beaten-up by you, like I did over the years, but I am among them when I say I hope to see you up and about real soon.

I miss you buddy. Take care of yourself and do what the nurses tell you! Talk with you soon,

Chad
